the cooking demonstration that was provided for the residents at mcculloh was awesome! they were educated on healthy food options which is imperative for the mcculloh community. holistic wellness and health is a scarce resource that can help to improve the lifestyles of many individuals by encouraging healthier food choices. the cooking demos that crystal forman (holistic wellness and health) and the farm alliance of baltimore did for lexington market made a significant impact in the short period that we hosted the farm alliance pop up at lexington market. we were excited to taste the different dishes offered at the lexington market in 2016 by chef, crystal forman working in conjunction with the farm alliance. it was a pleasure seeing the foods the farm alliance produced cooked in such various and unexpected ways. there was a big interest by the customers as to the wholesome and nutritious food being offered.
